I thought this recipe was DELICIOUSO! A lot of work with all the different recipes but oh so worth it. I made it on July 4th and took it to a picnic style get together that my friends and I were having and it got rave reviews. They were even asking for the recipe. I did make some changes along the way. I used plain yogurt instead of mayonaise in the coleslaw, can't have eggs. Also, I thought the Wilson'd sauce was way, way tooooooooooo vinegary so I changed that too. I guess I made it more of a Georgia style sauce and doubled the catsup, and added brown sugar to tase instead of white sugar. Next time I make this and yes there will be a next time I think I will lighten the load on the crushed red pepper too as it was a slight too spicy. Felt it overwhelmed the other spices on the pork and the rest of the sauce. Love ya Guy!

Have to give it to Guy for a Eastern Carolina Vinegar Sauce. People appear to enjoy the BBQ sauce to be Tomato Based. That's not Primary! Guy Is Correct~ if the Pork is Tender, no Sauce East or West in Tenn. matters! The Pork Must Be up front & centre as His Is to Enjoy...Great going, Guy!

I made everything...pulled pork, BBQ Sauce and Slaw...AMAZING! The slaw is the perfect complement and makes the sandwich stand out from all the others.

I made the pulled pork for a cookout that i had and it was not hard to do everyone loved I did not make the BBQ Sauce I used my very own BBQ Sauce and everyone went crazzy when they tasted the sauce on the pork. You can find our sauce at Sequoya and Jaylins Gourmet Food.

The first time I made this I have to admit I was sceptical, boy was I suprised on how wonderfull this was! I logged back in to write the recipe down in my go to book. I didnt make the BBQ sauce at that time but if it is anything like the pork recipe Im sure I wont be disappointed.

This recipe is awesome!! It didn't come out smoky, so I'd probably skip the hickory chips and add a little liquid smoke to the mop sauce next time, but wow! The pork came out tender and flavorful and the "bark" really kicked it up a notch. The barbecue sauce is really intense (in a good way but I think most people could probably get away with making a half recipe. The cole slaw is also awesome - I'd definitely use the dressing on other salads.
