I saw this on TV and looked it up online. I love this recipe! I was looking for another way to use leftover chicken and I found it! I didn't have any dates, so I used dried apricots and raisins. My husband doesn't like olives, so I served capers on the side for me. I served it with pilaf, yogurt and frozen peas. Sometimes, I find I can't tolerate curry, but this was just the right amount. My husband and our boarder liked it, too. It went together very quickly and came out just right. It will now be on my list of regulars! :

Did not enjoy the flavor mix. I typically enjoy savory and sweet.

I really didn't like this dish. The combination of the olives and the different spices just didn't go together to me. I would not try this one again.

This is a great recipe! The first time I made it, I cut the recipe in half and used a small rectangular casserole dish. Although I let my phyllo dough become too dry, the recipe came out really well. It was SO delicious! I'm making it tomorrow night for my parents- hopefully they enjoy it, too!

I love the mix of sweet and savory flavors in this dish. However, it didn't come together as neatly or look as pretty as Robin's. Next time, after adding the egg mixture, I'll let them tighten up a bit over low heat so that the filling isn't so runny. But overall, it came together quickly with ingredients I had on hand, was easy to make, and tasted delicious!
