This was very quick and easy to make. The dish turned out delicious and my husband hwo does not like curry wants me to make this again. I couls not find the garam masala so I just omitted it and the recipe was still good. I have finally found it and can't wait to make it again. I think I will also take the make the sauce ahead suggestions.

I saw Robin make this recipe on tv - I liked that it was extremely simple to make. (She added chopped tomatoes to the coucous which was a nice addition not included on this site. I was expecting at least a little heat and there was none. I really wasn't impressed with this, I'm not sure that it is even worth tweaking to improve. It was simple, it wasn't horrible but it far from what curry should actually taste like.

Prepared this dish with bone in chicken thighs. Used a small mild hot pepper from the garden instead of a can of peppers. Used ? the coconut milk and used only ? tsp. of cumin, Garam masala, and mild curry powder. I think next time I will use the entire can and just have all the spices (more sauce and less heat for my wife. I let this mixture rest for ? a day ? next time it will be overnight. I added 4-6 dried apricot halves finely minced to the coconut, spice, and pepper mixture that was added in the last 5 minutes to the skillet. I could have also used golden raisins or dried pineapple. The sweetness of the apricots helped moderate what I tasted was the modest heat of this dish made as I made it.
My wife, who hates curry & all hot dishes said she liked this and asked me to please make it again.

This was--bar non--the easist dinner I've made in ages! For deeper flavor, I did use more of the garam masala, curry and the cumin powders. I also added sauteed mushrooms to the recipe and that adds a nice "extra" touch to the recipe. The couscous is the perfect side dish. The chicken was moist and tender and the sauce was like something I order at my favorite Indian restaurant! If you like Indian food, you'll really enjoy this meal!

Imake this recepie all the time. It's awsome because it takes very little hassle. Just a few ingredients. My whole family loves this.. even my small children!! It is sssoooo good! A few suggestions:
    1. Throw the sauce together in the morning (gives it time to hang out and devlop it's flavor also just makes later on even easier!
    2. If you like a little bit more than normal spice.. try about a 1/4 to half can of diced jalapenos. Gives it a nice kick! Just dont use the whole can!!!!!
Over all...... This is one of my favorite dishes to make!

I followed the recipe exactly and it just didn't taste right; not at all what a green curry should taste like. It's slightly bitter and too smoky.

My husband and I are curry nuts, and this was fantastic. The only thing I could suggest (although completely unnecessary make the sauce up the day before you want to use it and let it sit in the fridge, it was fantastic for dinner but the leftovers the next day were 10 times better.

My husband and I both liked it. Next time I make it though I am going to use Medium green chiles instead of mild.

I love curry but my family is not so keen on curry. However, they loved this dish. I waited until my 17 daughter said "mom, this is good" then I told her it was curry and she said curry was not what she expected. Will make again........tonight!

This recipe is a quick fix when time has run out. Make enough for leftovers because it is actually better the next day after flavors have time to meld.
