This dish is very fast and easy to make, even on a weeknight. However...fillet of sole is just not the right fish for this. Sole is an extremely fragile fish and it falls apart quickly in a frying pan on it's own. I ended up with a pile of mush to push my sauce over. The sauce is great, but I would use a different fish next time as others have tried. Tilapia, halibut or even shrimp would work better.

Delicious! I used 1/4 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup milk in place of the heavy cream because I didn't have any on hand and it still came out great. Simple and quick recipe.

This Pesto Cream Sauce is delicious. I never would have thought of combining pesto with half and half. We are not fond of fish so we made Ina Garten's Roasted Shrimp from her Roasted Shrimp Salad recipe and we put the sauce over the shrimp and had it with spaghetti. Try it - I think that you will not be disappointed !!!!!!!!!!

My family asks for this all the time. I have it over angel hair or fettucini instead of rice. Also, I use tilapia.

This is my 2nd time making it, but w/ Tilapia and brown rice. My boyfriend and I love this dish.

This takes almost no effort and tastes fantastic! My boyfriend is not even a huge fish fan and he thought it was great.

I made this for the second time last night with Tilapia. Our dinner guest asked for the recipe and my picky 6 year old boys give it two thumbs up. I served it with jasmine rice cooked in my rice cooker and steamed broccoli. Takes no time to pull together. A 5 star weeknight meal. I need to buy a fish spatula for the future. Had difficulty turning the delicate fish while browning with my regular spatula without some of this fish breaking apart.

This was easy to prepare, delicious and my kids ate it up! The only change I made was using flounder instead of sole.

This was a great, quick, week night meal. I drained off most of the oil before adding the sauce and it worked well.
