I've wanted to try this recipe for a while. I received fingerling potatoes from my produce co-op and it immediately came to mind. The flavor was great and the meat was moist. I made it with both salmon and chicken and it turned out beautifully (I cooked the chicken 10 minutes longer. I didn't have haricot verts, but instead glazed carrots with molasses and orange to tie in those flavors. My only complaint is that I expected the sauce to have more body. Mine was a thin consistency and most of it cooked in the bottom of the baking dish rather than on the meat. All in all it it was still a beautiful dinner for company with many compliments to the chef.

Wow!! My family loved it. My son, who is a foodie, said it was the best salmon he had ever eaten. He wanted it again the next night. Additionally it was very easy to make, went quickly and left minimal mess for cleanup. This will become a regular item in our home.

Amazing!! I made exactly as written, and my entire family said it was the best salmon they ever had. I have to agree!! YUMMY. I served it with mashed potatoes (Yukon Gold and roasted green beans. Next time, I will steam the beans, just what I prefer. Definitely a keeper.

I made this for the Monday Night Football Gang, word got out and I made it for the whole family. They're convinced I'm chef Boy-ar-dee or something, It was a hit ! Added asparagus with the green beans, nice addition. Homemade teriyaki sauce also works well on chicken and pork.

I made this yesterday for my wife and I. She and I both loved it. The fish was cooked to perfection with the specified instructions, and all the flavor came out, but didn't overpower the wonderful flavor of the salmon itself. The haricots verts and fingerling potatoes were surprisingly very flavorful and a wonderful compliment to round out the palate of flavors. It was also very simple to make and didn't take much prep time at all. I also would like to note that I love teriyaki sauce and having the opportunity to make my own was interesting and rewarding. Lastly, I presenting it just like Robin did on the show and my wife was very impressed. I'll pull this one out for company sometime!

This is the best homemade teriyaki recipe I've tried. I used frozen salmon filets which required longer bake time, fearing the sauce would burn due to its high suger content, I baked the fish at 400 for about 15 mins first, then poured about half the sauce on top and baked for approximately another 10 mins. Since I did not have any mandarin oranges on hand, I added about 3 table spoons of orange marmalade to the sauce to substitute, and also thickened the sauce on the stove with some flour. As suggested by other reviewers, I also poured the extra sauce on top of the veggies and fish when served. It was absolutely fantastic, both myself and my husband loved it. I will definitely make this again, and I plan on trying the same teriyaki sauce on steak/chicken in the future.

Fantastic recipe. Used a nice thick quality piece of salmon and everything was done at the same time. Used green beans instead of the haricots verts. The green beans just looked heartier. ... Will definitely make this again.
