I must admit I was a little disappointed. I thought it would have more taste. Once I added more butter, cheese, and spices it was good, but it still needs that... pizazz.

Delicious!! A great base for adding additional ingredients, fresh mushrooms and corn are a great addition.

Excellent! It came together so quickly. I added thyme and used smoked paprika. I will definitely make this again.

Finally!... A recipe in which I didn't need to go to the store for odd-ball ingredients. Had everything on hand (except fresh parsley, but used scallions I had instead. Also brushed top of potatoes with the unused egg white for additional browning and sprinkled a little fancy shredded cheedar on top for even more goodness. Definatly taste meat/veg/gravy mixture before putting into baking dish and season to YOUR liking. Thanks Rachael!

This was really good, although I did make a few changes to better suit my purpose. I made this for the main course of our St. Patty's day feast yesterday. I added some Guinness beer to the meat mixture to deglaze the pan before putting in the gravy. I also added some imported Irish white cheddar to the mashed potatoes, as well as some green onion (to add another festive green touch to it. The result was über delicious! I was very pleased with it. My family all had second helpings. I'm at work right now, and I can't wait to reheat the leftovers I packed in my lunch!

This was fantastic! I used half beef/half lamb. I also added a dash of cinnamon to the meat because it goes great with lamb, and it was delicious. I also used Lawry's in the mashed potatoes to give a little more flavor. I will definitely make this again, and definitely drain the fat!

I changed the recipe up just a little. I didn't have a regular onion so I used a red onion. I also used too much dried thyme seasoning instead of fresh and it was too much. I think if I would've followed the recipe more closely it would have been even better. I did use cheddar cheese on top which was good.
