I love coconut and these were very easy to make but I did not enjoy the end product. Too sweet, cut down on the sugar. I used all ingredients except nutmeg.

Don't give a recipe one star if you made coconut cookies knowing you don't like coconut! Loved these! People often rate low because they can't follow directions.
PS reducing sugar will reduce sweetness...

I made these for my family and friends at the holidays and they were delicious! Everyone raved about them. I did dip the bottoms in chocolate as suggested in an earlier review and I omitted the nutmeg. Can't wait to make them again!

These cookies are pretty good, nice and chewy. I made them 2 weeks before a party and froze them and they defrosted wonderfully.

cookies were good but a little too rich for our taste. I'm not sure what to change to reduce the "sweetness" but overall they were easy to make and had a good flavor.

Easy recipe to follow. Higher altatude, had to beat the egg whites to stiff peaks, added 1/2 cup more coconut and used the almond extract. Easy bake time, wonderful warm or cool, nice and chewy.
Loved them, great in my holiday baskets.
