Last week I made this soup. The soup was delicious, my wife and I love it, I'm Mexican and I know that one of the best chili to give that special flavor is the chile ancho, for it is one of the leading chiles into "Mole". Approaching my dad's birthday and what I'm going to cook? That's right, this delicious soup. Very good, smoky, sweet, salty nutritious. Congratulations for this recipe!!!!!

The soup was tasty, but not worth all the work. Soup recipes that are simple taste much better!

Delicious, easy and relatively quick. Everyone I've ever made it for thoroughly enjoys it.

Wondering why people are misrepresenting the recipe. You should be rating this recipe, not complaining because you can't find another recipe. If it is misdirecting you here, send a comment/complaint to the appropriate person(s. What are you accomplishing by giving this great recipe 1 star?

I made this per the original and then the 2nd time I use chipotle peppers instead of anchos. This really added an extra zip (not that it needed one and changed the complex stacking of flavors a bit. I also put the soup in the bowl first and then topped with the tortillas so they stayed crispier longer. This is a definite crowd pleaser.

This soup was fantastic! I was a little sceptical that it could be done in 30 minutes, but it was, start to finish. For that alone I loved it, but the taste of the soup was so great! And the extras (lime, avacado, tortillas, even better. I like my food spicy, but my husband doesn't like things as spicy as me, so I didn't add all of the pepper/broth mixture or the other peppers, but it was still good.

My husband who is not a soup person even loved it and at 2 bowls full. I took it for lunch the next day and it was even better. Can't wait to make it again.

Everybody is talking about a different recipe. This recipe was so good and complex in flavor.I love spicy food, but this soup was very spicy so I would do 1 less ancho chili and one less jalepeno.I took the seeds out and everything but it was too spicy.after I took some broth out and put more chicken stock in it was perfect.the sour cream and lime juice took it over the top.this will become one of my favorite soups.

The beer, lime, and honey made a great flavor! Sounds gross to add honey and lime to soup, but it tastes GOOD!

Everyone was asking where the recipes are from this episode.

You need to click directly on the Love Me Tender episode title, not on the recipes.
from this it will pull up the chicken tenders and potato recipes.
