This was delicious. My husband loved it. I'll tell you though, I made such a mess i n the kitchen and it took me well over an hour to make it. I double the recipe and my food processor didn't like it. I did freeze the half of the soup. I am going to put in the crock pot whenever, add beer, and let it warm up for a few hours. I hope that works? Suggestions?

Pretty good soup! I did add the bottle of beer after the veggies sauteed but before adding the tomatoes. Great with all the garnishes, added green onions on top too.

yeah she did add a bottle of beer to the soup. does anyone know when to add it, I remember it was in the beginning.

I made this recipe after seeing the show, with the bottle of beer. Excellent flavor. I also added a can of drained beans and loved that too. Will definitely make this again.

Excellent flavor and texture...baked tortillas got a little soggy, so next time I'll put them on top...other than that, great soup!
