The flavor of this sauce is really good. I substituted apple juice for the brandy. It wasn't as thick as I would have liked but I will try it again.

So good and so easy! Everyone raved. The changes I made were mostly based on what I had on hand but I used regular brandy, omitted the raisins and poured it over warm chocolate cake with some whipped cream. Not too sweet, the brandy gave it a punch and the cake made it taste a bit like black forest cake. Definately a keeper!

This dessert was incredibly easy to make, and absolutely wonderful! I subbed the apple brandy for apple juice, but it still turned out with a great flavor! I can't wait to make it again!
