These are Terrific with Any Meal. If just for Two? Make All and cool and Freeze. Allow to thaw and warm in Oven on 325 degrees. If gets "dry",pour a bit of Stock or gravy over to not be dry.Have these All the Time. Enjoy "dressing" All the Time with just a Sweet Potato on the side and green beans.Nice Alternative Meal.

I've made this 3 times now for different gatherings and everyone really likes them. Notice that the cook time at the top says 25 minutes (plus 15 minutes for prep but the printed recipe says bake for 10-15 minutes -- it needs 25 minutes! I use 2 apples instead of 3, 2 cups of stock, and a large (rather than medium onion - my personal choice. Don't add too much poultry seasoning if you use seasoned stuffing cubes and sure to use stock, not broth or bouillon.

These were wonderful!!! My 12 year old niece & I made them for Thanksgiving. It was a fun recipe to share with her. All the kids liked them. I used Honey Crips apples just cause I already had them. We also cooked them a little longer, but that's just cause we had a lot of things in our oven. They were a hit & I will definitely make them again!

This was the most unusual recipe I have ever tasted. There was entirely TOO MUCH poultry seasoning in the muffins and when they were baked, they tasted terrible. The recipe was followed to the letter. There was a lot of apple, onions and time wasted.

I used the basic recipe and then just felt my way through the chicken stock and one 15oz can of broth was enough. I tasted as I went along and added the amount of poultry seasoning that I thought tasted best as the bread cubes that I purchased (pepperidge farms were already seasoned slightly. I added some craisins for color mostly and baked it in a square baking dish. Although it was not as good as stuffing baked in the turkey it was darned close and I am so glad that I tried it. I know that I will be making it again.

Overall, this recipe was a hit with my family. We are from Texas, and my mother was VERY concerned about the white bread and apples. I had to tweak it a bit. I tried the big muffin tins, but the mixture wouldn't set. I switched to medium tin (12 muffins and upped the temperature to 400. I cooked for 15 minutes, then turned them over and cooked another 15-20 minutes. I made the mixture the night before Thanksgiving, so maybe they were too cold to set quickly?? Despite trouble shooting required, they were very tasty and I will be making them again next year :

This is such a simple recipe and I expected it to turn out good. But the poultry seasoning was way too much, and the dish needed way more chicken stock than what's written. An earlier review mentioned that in the video Rachael puts more chicken stock. Wish I had seen the video before making this recipe. I will have to repair this recipe on the stove top by adding some plain toasted bread and chicken stock. Rachael should have also mentioned the baking instructions for casserole style as many people may not want to do muffins. Overall I am disappointed in this recipe. I hope someone corrects the recipe above to match the video.
