These were pretty good. Maybe next time I'll do what the other reviewer did and try it with some cilantro. I thought it was a little on the bland side..more salt next time and I also used lime juice instead of the lemon. Decent, but I definately will have to jazz it up a bit more next time.

I love avocados and this would be a great side dish to so many meals. Quick and easy setup and they look delicious. The hot sauce adds a little kick and the lemon juice brings the flavors together. I'm going to try this at my next bbq.

My husband refused to eat avocados but I made these with the BBQ sammies anyway. He absolutely loved them and now eats avocados! I can't believe how good these are! And so healthy! You've done it again, Rachel!

These were excellent. The color was so attractive with the rest of the meal I used them with. Fast, handy ingredients, and can easily be done for one as a snack if you like this kind of treat, and I REALLY do. I dropped on some sour cream a couple of times. Wow...I'm hungry again

I loved these boats, but took it up another notch. I grilled drizzled EVOO and added a pinch of sea salt and freshly ground pepper and grilled the avocados. I marinated plum tomatoes and onions in the EVOO and squeezed the lemon juice in. When the grilling was done, I added the tomatoe mixture. Thanks for this recipe!!

Great for a quick guacamole like side without the work. Will make this one again for sure, maybe with a little minced garlic in the tomato mix as well.
    Thanks!

I love avocados and this is a nice way to serve it. Rachaels Guacamole salad is another winner if you love avocados.
