My first time trying carbonara: very creamy and rich, and the ingredients are always in my kitchen.

I make this recipe all the time, I add a little less red pepper flakes than Rachael though. It's also a regular in my sisters house...it's easy and tastey!

I used 1/2 cup of cheese, per a few other reviewers' suggestion, but I found it to be a bit too much. I will try around 1/4 cup of cheese next time. This was a wonderful dish and easy. I had seconds and my husband had a third serving. He thought it tasted like something from a restaurant. Will definitely make again.

This recipe was easy, fast and absolutely delicious!! I even used regular bacon and garlic powder (didn't have cloves on hand and I would STILL serve it company!!!

this recipe was SO GOOD and EASY. i substitued turkey bacon for the pancetta and lingini instead of ziti. i also didn't have enough wine so i put half wine and half chicken broth. it was so rich and creamy and it's great because it did not have any cream. i look forward to making it again.

This was the first Rachael Ray meal I ever made, and it's by far one of the best. I always add a little more of the pasta water at the end, because I think it can tend to get dry if you don't. I've also added some shredded roasted chicken breast for a little something extra. Try this one, I'm sure you'll love it too!

This was my first Rachael Ray recipe - it was on the last page of her first cookbook. It is soo excellent. I have been making it now for over 2 years. It is my go to meal. If you can't find pancetta, bacon works too.

I usually love most all of Rachael's recipes and I was expecting this to be really good based on all the glowing reviews, but I found it to be just OK. I gave it three stars because there was nothing really bad or really good about it. I wish there was a 2 and-a-half star option. The dish seemed to be missing something. I made the recipe exactly as written and I double checked to make sure that I didn't miss a step, and I didn't. Another issue I had with this dish- there was a LOT of grease after cooking the pancetta. I added the olive oil after cooking the pancetta and noticed that there was a lot of grease in the pan. I drained off all but about 2 tablespoons of grease. I wound up draining off about 1/2 cup of grease! Mabye I drained off some of the flavor or something, but I personally can't bring myself to eat or feed my family that much bacon grease. I'm glad most everyone else had good luck with this one.
