    It tasted nothing like the dish from my favorite restaurant. I followed the directions exactly..My 3 year old was the only one who liked it!

    I have to highly recommend this recipe! This was the first "real" meal I ever cooked since going to college and it turned out great. The pancetta took a little longer to brown than the recipe indicated but it was fine other than that. The flavors and portions were very good. Very easy (even for newbies like me!

    Oh my gosh, this is the best dish ever! The flavor was really great! It didn't take that long to cook, and I searved it with some garlic french bread, which in turn, emphasized the flavor, and it was really great! I had a lot left over though, but, it does make good left overs. But, I wouldn't keep it past three days.

    Oh! Its definatly my new favorite food!

    Rachael's recipe for Carbonara was wonderful! Although it took me a bit longer than the listed prep/cook time, it was well worth every minute. I also used just 1 package of pancetta, and used Spicy Italian sausage(removed from casing to add more meat. Also decided to add some lemon zest. The taste was great...if you love pasta, try this recipe!!!
