    I made this for Easter for a group of 25 - it was great! Took the advice of other reviewers & precooked the bacon just a bit. Of course, this quantity took a bit longer to roast in the oven but I just kept checking them til al dente. Wonderful!

    This is a delicious dish perfect for any occasion. It went over extremely well at a dinner party I recently attended. And it is so easy to make! I added one step to the recipe. I dipped the asparagus in the olive oil then before wrapping it in the bacon I coated it in a bread crumb/parmesean cheese mixture. It was wonderful!

    Cooked as directed - broiled for 2-3 minutes to crisp up bacon, and served immediately - great way to serve aspargus.

    The only thing I can say is my husband who does not like asparagus loved it and even my 3 year old ate 5 and was bumming mine. Make sure to use the center cut bacon I didnt and the bacon came out gummy not crisp.
