This is quick and easy and the sweetness of the pineapple is surprisingly good with the salty/savory taste of the bacon and shrimp. I would recommend using the cut-up pineapple you find in the refrigerated fruit section, cheaper than buying whole pineapple but much better than canned - tried this the second time with canned and not nearly as good. Also, de-vein and peel your shrimp ahead of time if you're in a hurry the day you'll be cooking this, or buy already cleaned. It's only 30-minute meals if you've done some prep work or paid for the convenience of having it done for you.

this recipe was so easy and so good! for those people who said it fell apart, i listened to rachel when she said put the seam side down on the pan, i did that and it held together perfectly. and make sure your pineapple is all surrounded by your shrimp (if anyone can understand what i'm saying.. and accidently i got medium sized shrimp but the bacon wasn't too big, and they cooked just right. thanks rachel! this recipe is just great. tastes fantastic and its so easy and all you need is pineapple, shrimp and bacon. nothing else.

I have prepared these twice in 3 days... Everyone is going crazy... they are quick and easy... slightly on the expensive side, but well worth it if you entertain regularly... also goes great with grilled items such as steak and us guys love'em

I wrapped these up a day ahead and took them to grill at a tailgate party. Great finger food! My only suggestion would be to use as little bacon as neccesary to wrap, I cut each strip into thirds.

The most simple way to cook something that will wow anybody coming over for a bite to eat or snack. This was so simple that I use this anytime we have people over at the last minute for a game or movie. Quick, simple, and oh so yummy!

This combination is so tasty, and I've never prepared a main course so quickly. Highly recommended for a regular weeknight meal.

I don't give out 5 stars often but this is a really good one. It is quick and easy to prepare but also has great flavor. Not a big pineapple fan but it blends well in this combination. I use high quality turkey bacon so a leaner dish as well. Recommend using small pieces of pineapple and will need 2 toothpicks to hold together.
