I thought I remembered Rachel saying we didn't need to use toothpicks. I did not and everything fell apart. I did use toothpicks for the second batch and they still fell apart. I don't know if it was the bacon or if the pineapple was too big, but it didn't stick together. Overall, the taste was delicious and I wll have to try it again!

The recipe was easy and my family loved it, BUT...I didn't use thick enough bacon and it fell apart on some. Still tasted yummy but the presentation left a lot to be desired.

The Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Shrimp is absolutely delicious! We made this as an appetizer for Easter Dinner and it was such a hit that my mom decided that this is her new official "Birthday Dinner!"

This recipe is the perfect combination of the salt and sweet. I was concerned that the bacon wouldn't cook enough, but I used large prawns (10-12 per pound size and covered the pan while cooking. The bacon was done through and the shrimp was still tender and juicy.

These were SO great. It's amazing how you can wrap bacon around shrimp - who would have thought of that EVER? I just lovelovelove your show, especially the tablescapes at the end.
