I served this to my husband for Valentine's day in 2003 right after it first aired on this same day, the 11th of Feb. It was the best. He still talks about it. The menu goes well with a good champagne as well as a good red wine. We still enjoy the asparagus and artichoke vegetable often. Anyone reading these reviews who hasn't tried this....please do not hesitate...you are going to love this combination and the night will become a wonderful memory.

I made this meal for my husband for Valentine's dinner & he thoroughly enjoyed it! With every bite compliments fell out of his mouth. He talked about it for days! I called my husband's work a few days later & a co-worker invited himself over to have me cook this meal for him!

Great dish! Due to my guests' preferences I substituted shrimp for the scallops and it was delicious. Later, when I was make the scallop dish just for me, I used a combination of shrimp and scallops. Awesome! My guests favorite part was the artichoke hearts and asparagus. I highly recommend you try these recipes.
