I thought it was good, but my husband who is a VERY fussy eater did not enjoy it at all. :(

Yes theres a but. I could NOT get it to reduce and it was boiling for a long time...I ended up having to dump the liquid and add the butter. It was great with the carrots because the tart was wonderful with the sweetness of the carrots...I think the trick is to use a really good balsamic which I did but am not sure that the $12 bottle of balsamic is worth putting onto carrots...

What a terrible thing to do to lovely Brussel Sprout! It went beyond a glaze and into the pickling territory.

My husband raved over these veggies! I made it with carrots and broccoli and it was delicious! Before I had the dish on the table, he was already sneaking out the carrots!

I just watched this and I thought I saw Racheal put the butter in first then added the veggies.. then added 1/2 cup water and 1/2 vinegar. I don't remember her adding the butter at the end? Or maybe I missed it? Also it says for the honey glaze 1/4 honey and 1/4 butter.. throught out the show she said just use 1/2 honey? Anybody else notice this difference?
Thanks..

I expected this to have a hint of a sweet taste, but instead I found it to have a strong vinegar taste.

I tried to figure out if I made a mistake somewhere in this receipe but it just didn't come out like I expected, too vinegary. They weren't bad but just not to our taste. Sorry Rachael.
