Healthy & yet still devoured by the hubby! Easy to make and fun (but messy! to eat. Next time I think I'll sprinkle crushed peanuts on top.

This recipe is fabulous! I have made the dish about five times and everybody that has tried it, has LoVeD it! I followed the recipe exactly, although I traded the mushrooms for grated carrots. I also added a bit more Hoison sauce and a few drizzles of General Tso's sauce or red chile sauce for some extra zing. It was magnificent! A definite MUST make, as it is quick, easy and delicious!

Next time I make this recipe I think i will chop everything up whenever I get a few minutes during the day, that way I could have dinner cooked and ready to eat in like 10 minutes. My husband is a very picky eater and he LOVED this. I had read other reviews before starting and found that 1/2 the orange zest was plenty of orange flavor-everything else I folowed exactly and it turned out great!

I saw this recipe and read the reviews and thought to myself, could this really be as good (or maybe better than PF Changs or Pei Wei. I decided to make it and find out and YES, it is better. THe orange zest gives it a little zing/freshness/hint of sweet that the restaurants dont have. I used diced water chestnuts and ground chicken. My husband was raving about it again this morning. Outstanding recipe!!! Will definately make again, and again, and again!

I made some slight variations to suit our taste, but it was really good! I added a chopped carrot, a dash of soy sauce and a dash of sriracha hot sauce. I also left out the orange zest.

After reading the comments, I decided to use 1/2 of the orange zest and only 2 TBSP of the hoisin and it was fantastic!
