I followed the recipe with a few minor adjustments; 2 tbsp of bbq sauce in the burger b/c i didnt have any worcestshire on hand, added a slice of monterey jack cheese on top prior to serving, and used a muai onion roll as opposed to what was suggested. These came out moist and delicious.....like some of the other reviewers i could take the burger without the slaw and they would be just as good if not a little better.

Rachel hits it out of the park with this one! My husband and I are crazy about this recipe. We have made this dish three times and can't get enough of it. We used ground turkey one of the times and surprisingly, the burgers were as juicy and moist as when we used chicken. The first time we made them, I had no tomato paste so I just used catsup. Delicious, so that's the way we always do it. Don't skip the cole slaw it is simple and delicious and the perfect compliment to the burger. Enjoy!!! Thanks Rachel!!

I was excited to try this recipe when I saw BBQ in the title, however I think the chicken burgers came out very bland. My husband and I ended up adding BBQ sauce on top of the burgers to add flavor. I might try the recipe again and just add BBQ sauce instead of the tomato paste.

I expected a lot from this recipe due to the raves, but this one was a miss for me. The sandwiches and coleslaw were edible, there just wasn't anything special about them that would make someone go, "Wow, this is good!" I'm passing on this one.

We didn't make the slaw but we made the burgers exactly as Rachael's recipe and it was simply astonishing. The flavor was amazing I have never tasted a chicken burger as delicious before in my life. My brother loved it too and he is very picky with food. He said it tasted better than restaurant burgers.
    Rachael you did it again!

This has become a favorite at our house. I get onion rolls from the deli and use turkey instead of chicken. Great recipe, thank you!

A yummy meal that my toddlers also enjoyed. They slaw has a sweet and sour dressing that is a nice change from a mayonnaise dressing.
