This recipe was quick and YUMMY! My kids even liked it. They did not favor the cornichons (sweet pickles but my husband and I thought they added a little zing. This was so easy and good. We will have this again. I imagine that it would also be great left over, but there was none left to experiment with that.

My friend and I love trying out recipes and we found this one last night. We couldn't afford the tenderloin (being poor college students so we used sirloin instead. We actually left out the cornichons and added some sliced white mushrooms which turned out fabulous. This was easy, it made a lot of food so we have leftovers for tonight, and it tastes awesome. I would suggest adding just a little heavy cream or maybe some red wine to the sauce to make it richer. We had to add a little cornstarch to our sauce to get it to thicken up, but otherwise this is a great dish.

Loved this recipe - made it last week the two of us and now I plan to make it again for a group of friends who are coming over for a Christmas party. It's delicious and easy.

I tried this recipe about three weeks ago for my husband and I, and it was great. I did add mushrooms to mine. I have made it a few more times since then. Once I added a little red wine (that I happened to be drinkingto the sauce and it added a very unique flavor. I also add more onions than called for because I love them. I have also found that this recipe is easy to keep on hand to use with leftover meat. I have made it with leftover chicken breast and also with some leftover pork tenderloin I had, both times it turned out very well. I plan to keep the staples for this in the house in case we are ever in the mood for it. Great Recipe!

Has anyone tried using ground beef? I've made it several times with tenderloin but, wanted to cut some of the cost. I also leave out the cornichons. I can't bring myself to use them. All and all this is a keeper!

This is one of my favorite RR recipes! I did not use the cornichons or parsley, but I did add some sliced cremini mushrooms (cooked with the onions. Try it with the mushrooms - very delish!

I have tried several different recipes for beef stroganoff and this one has got to be the worst. Talk about tasteless and just really disgusting

It was easy to make and different. You always look for something easy and different to make and this rates high. I did a few different things to it but all and all it was the same and very good.

I made this for the first time tonight and it turned out great. My husband, who is usually scared when I tell him I am cooking, loved it. I will definately make this again and with mushrooms next time.
