I have made this recipe twice so far and love it!

The Louisiana Salsa recipe makes a boat-load of salsa, but it is great for leftovers. (With some of the leftover salsa, we mixed it with eggs the next morning.

I used tobasco chipotle for the hot sauce.
I used an IPA for the beer.
The store didn't have fresh shrimp one time so I used frozen (I thawed them out as per the package directions.

    The rice was AMAZING!!

This is a recipe that makes your home smell wonderful. This recipe will be in our regular rotation!

I made this while visiting my son in St.Louis and he loved it. I thought the salsa was more than needed, however it is still more to love. Good Recipe and can't wait to make it for my Hubbie.

I have made this recipe a couple of times with a couple little changes. I made the shrimp and sauce just as the recipe indicated, though maybe a bit more hot sauce. We are fans. For the rice, I used some salsa I had on hand and made risotto instead. It was wonderful.

Not impressed at all. The shrimp was the best part by far! I used a lemon flavored beer which really added to the shrimp. The salsa rice was not worth it. Will continue to make the shrimp with another dish.

This is absolutely amazing! It does take quite a bit longer than 30 minutes to make, but worth every minute. It is so god I couldn't imagine adding the salsa to it, but it really takes it to the next level. We couldn't stop eating it. The salsa recipe does make quite a bit though so you will most likely have a lot left over. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

My husband and I both thought this dish was wonderful. I did add green tabasco to the rice for a little more zip. Great dish Rachel!!! Thanks.
