I tried this with the lady fingers. It was difficult with the lady fingers that rachel had suggested. The lady fingers were not soft. Instead they were hard and crunchy. So the next time I used pound cake... Mucho better!! The the 3rd time I utilized this my friends were chocolate nuts so I made a chocolate cake and used that...wow out of this world!!

There are two types of lady fingers available. More of a cookie and then more of a cake-type. I believe this recipe would work best with the cake-type. I have found these in the refrigerated bakery section in my local grocery. Hope that helps!!

These were great. However, as the other reviewer mentioned, my lady fingers were a little dry so be sure to really soak them in the berry liquid. Also, my marscapone mix came out a little chalky, I'm not sure if I used the correct sugar. I used confectioners, maybe too much. Next time I'll use very little sugar.

Rich dessert but perfect for the cold winter because it reminds me of the good old summer days.

This was good but it was kind of hard to work it out to eat out of those martiniglasses and to make it look nice was dificult too. I am going to try this recipe again with creme puffs or with angel food cake. The marscapone mix was awesome!! The ladyfingers not so great.

I added some chambord to the cream and used a brownie on the bottom instead of lady fingers...It was really good.
