This was pretty good. If I make it again, I would personally leave out the red wine. Also I cooked the noodles too soon & too long. They were a bit mushy. Next time this could be really great though!

Watching Rachel make and talk about this recipe made it irrestible to try. The size of the meatballs gets your attention initially, 2nd the ease in dividing the mound of meat makes one realize it might be a worthwhile alternate to an easy meat sauce. In the end though, the flavor perfectly matched the gorgeous sight of the "big beef meatballs" (& I didn't change a single ingredient! I served it to company and to their delight sent them home with 4 of the huge servings to put in their own freezer.

I can't begin to make it in 30 minutes but the dish is absolutely first rate -- delicious. I served it the night before Thanksgiving and it was perfect!

This was a winner, everyone loved the dish. I made it with turkey and 2 hot sausage links did not have beef broth so I used chicken stock. It was so yummy I will make this again.

There's always a moan if I say it is meatballs for dinner but the kids actually complimented me on these. Really delicious flavor. The bucatini was just too long and unmanageable..will make again but with spaghetti or rice.

The meatballs were easy and fun to make, unfortunately, the family was ho-hum about the taste. I think the sage and capers gave it a little different flavor. I will try making this with less of both and see how that goes over.
