This recipe is great, especially to clean out the fridge. I didn't use the pancetta, and instead of sirloin, I used ground turkey.

I've made this dish twice now, once for my boyfriend and once for my parents and grandmother. Everyone was very pleased (and full! including my father who has a very simple taste preference. The buccatini made the dish feel somewhat different and authentic.
    I will make this again!

very easy, straightforward and LOTS of food to go round. I used smoky bacon which I had and it worked great. Simple, easy and filling.

This recipe was really easy. I hate onions, so the grated onion was a great touch. The sage was a little strong to my liking, but that's the beauty of this recipe and can substitute items to your taste. Loved the red wine in the sauce and doubled mushrooms just 'cuz I love mushrooms. I plan on adding spinach to the sauce to add some extra nutritional value. This was a nice change of pace from my usual traditional spaghetti with meat sauce. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Mmmm...I even used ground turkey instead of meat and it was delicious! Best meatballs I've ever had! I used my own spaghetti sauce just to make it easier. Everyone loved it! I served it to my family and extended family.

sauce was good. just my own tasting, i had to add some sugar to my liking because the red wine was overpowering. otherwise i would make it again. the meatballs were delicious and easy to make.

Sauce was tasty, however I would add more crushed tomatos next time. Also would pan fry the meatballs so they would brown. The capers in the meatballs were nice. I'll try this one more time.

This recipe was awesome! My husband and I made it last night and it was a great hit with everyone in the family. Not too tomatoey, just right. Although... I did cut back on the onion and substituted with green bell pepper.
