This is the worst soup, stoup, whatever the hell you people call it, that I have ever had. A shout out to Christina from Stamford, supposedly, these recipes are supposed to be healthful and tested, if the individual who claims it was too oily and followed the directions, it was not their fault. Why don't you stick that in your hat and smoke it.

This tasted soooo authentic! You could almost taste the Rio Grande River runnning over your taste buds!!! And your Monte Cristo sammies!!!! May I call them sammies???? I didn't have a griddle so I used my Sunbeam iron...you know like how you make pancakes in prison (I know your secret tee-hee. Be careful...don't burn your fingers but it still tasted yummo! Some say "remember the Alamo" but I say "remember the Alka Seltzer"!!!

    Love,

    Paula

I really can't wait to try it. I've made other meals from this show and everyone loves them. I know this one will be great too. Thank you for all the great recipes.

The stoup was easy, quick to make and the ingredients were simple ones already in our fridge or pantry. I used habeneros from our garden instead of jals.. andit made it a little spicier but still very tasty

This was so simple to make and really delicious. I will absolutely be making this again. I love the dumb review at the bottom of this page. If something is too oily for you.... WHY DON'T YOU CUT IT OUT YOURSELF!!!!!!???????? What a lame comment. I'm sure you've put the other reviews on every other recipe about too much butter or oil. Remember - YOU have ownership of the final product. Use what YOU need to use, little girl. And quit complaining. You're the loser that put too much oil in. LOL Go write more reviews now. Or better yet - find a job.

The calorie, fat, and cholesterol levels in either dish is way too high. This meal has 2/3 of the daily requirements for calories and 100% of DV for fat. Not healthy, please don't claim it is.
