I love black bean soup, so when Rachel had this on her show, I was ready.
I had most of the ingredients and felt like soup tonight, so I whipped it up in no time. It didn't look like the usual black bean soup, but,I thought I'd give it a try. What a great flavor!!! I had two bowls and was stuffed. I didn't add hot sauce, but I did put some shredded co-jack cheese on top along with the sour cream.

Very healthy & tasty soup! It did remind me a little bit of Rachael's Veg Head chili, which I also love. The sandwiches were equally awesome, to the point that between my husband & I, we ate all 4 of them in the course of the evening and most of the soup! I've been a long-time RR fan and make a lot of her meals. She's brilliant!

The best soup I have ever made!! I made it for my in-laws, and they loved it!! The sour cream makes it even better. I have never like black beans, but OH MY!!!! LOVE IT!!!

This "stoup" is great as a meal or could be a nice side dish with a Mexican entree. It has a nice kick!

I loved this recipe and so did my Son. My child would be the first one to tell me if he did not like something that I had cooked. So I use him as my little food critic. Before the food was ready I had let him taste a little bite of it and he kept coming back for some more, espically for the juice. I loved it because it was affordable, easy and quick to make, and had a lot of flavor to it. I will be making this all the time. Thank you Rachael Ray.

This is a great meal for the "mixed" family. My daughter and I are vegetarian while my husband is not. I made the stoup in the vegetarian style and made the sandwiches for my daughter and I just grilled cheese while my husband and daughter's friend got the meat in theirs. Everyone loved it!! Will stay at the top of my recipe pile!
