I made the stoup & everyone loved it. The only thing I did differently was that I made my own stock using a ham bone w/ LOTS of meat. It was very good:

I have made this stroup several times and am taking it tonight to a Weight Watchers tasting party. Very filling, very healthy and tastes great. I'll make it again!

Very easy and great flavor. My husband says one of the best "stoups" he's had.

Normally I don't make soup at home since I live alone and am notorious for not eating my leftovers. I ate ALL of this soup... I took it to work for lunch and ate it at home. It was basically all I ate for 4 days and never got tired of it. Plus it was so easy to make and I actually had most of the ingredients at home.

This stoup wasn't as thick at I was hoping for, maybe I didn't crush the beans as well as I should have, but it never seemed to get nice and thick like I was hoping for. I has a pretty good kick, and came together easily, altogether it wasn't too bad, I guess I got my expectations up.

I made both the soup and the sandwiches and both were great - the red pepper jelly really made a difference.

Printed this up before the show, had the stuff and it was easy and tasted great. It has been added to my recupe book. Thanks, even my family loved it. (from Man who loves Black bean soup
