Love these! Quick and easy -- Made them with Bisquick instead of Jiffy biscuit mix, because we cannot find that in our local grocers, but still very tasty! Have also made with half & half instead of cream, and the taste was really no different once baked!

Next time I'll only use a tsp pepper, otherwise yummy. They went well with Chili.

I am usually not a fan of biscuit mix, but it works well here. I had a large box, so I measured out 1 1/2 cups and that was the perfect amount for 1/2 cup of liquid (I used half and half instead of cream. After reading other reviews, I cut the pepper down to 1 1/2 teaspoons and that was perfect. My only other tip would be to bake on a sheet lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray. These are so good!

Very easy to make but one thing:

2 stores later and still no "Jiffy" biscuit mix, RR should specify actual amount. I wound up using bisquik. I went by the weight of another Jiffy box (8.5oz.

I put the egg wash, salt and some cheese on top and it turned out yummy.

Rather than use a biscuit mix, I just used a scone mix, and added the cheese, nutmeg, and pepper. They were delicious, and much lighter than the regular scone mix. I highly recommend them.

I was excited to make these scones but the only flavor I got from it was salt. Perhaps I should have put more pepper, and a little more cream. I probably won't make it again, but I do love Rachael's recipes, so I'll just try something else next time.

I love the flavor of these scones! However, I found that between the biscuit mix and the asiago cheese, there is plenty of salt in the recipe without adding more!

I have never had a scone but these things are amazing. I went easy on the pepper. Nutmeg and sugar are a must!!!

Sinfully easy, these biscuits have a strong in-your-face pepper flavor. The recipe gives no temperature, but I used 400 which worked well. Your nose will tell you when these biscuits are done. A good recipe for kids.
