I love easy, tasty recipes like this. The dressing was too sweet for our tastes, but it was an easy fix! Just added one more tablespoon of cider vinegar and it was perfect.

One of the best salad recipes ever. We eat it as a meal and add dried cranberries or cherries sometimes. Just great!

Sometimes a vary the nuts and use toasted pine nuts or pumpkin seeds. Sometimes I will vary the cheese and use goat. Any way you put it, it's always a hit and never any left overs no matter how big the bowl. The dressing is so easy and so divine!

It's versatile. Substitute pecans for walnuts or sesame seed oil for EVOO. I'm always asked for this recipe.

This salad was amazing and fitting for fall! Served it with a cinnamon crusted pork loin and baked squash, and herb rolls! Even the kids..who claim to not like nuts..gobbled it up!

Sometimes I put pears and cranberries in addition. Sometimes I add a little dijon mustard. Sometimes I add poppyseeds and a little mayo. The maple syrup (and a drop of maple extract has so many different combinations and I would never have thought to use it in a salad.

    Enjoy!!!

This salad is awesome. My husband asks for it every night for dinner. I add chopped granny smith apples and I use chopped romaine lettuce. Thanks Rachael! This is a home run!

I have used this recipe for over a year and everytime I bring it to a gathering I am constantly asked for the recipe. You cannot go wrong with this one.
