the bbq sauce is wonderful. I was wondering how long the bbq sauce will keep in the refridgerator after making?

REALLY AMAZING!! I made this last night for my boys and my sister. It was really great!! I doubled all portions since I used thighs and legs and I'm glad I did. My sister even took the stock with her to eat as a soup for later. I did not make the slaw because my boys wanted the chicken over rice and I made grean beans as an additional side. I had my chicken on a bun soaking the bread with the sauce...OHH BOY!! I managed to hide a bit so I could have another for breakfast---YES, it's that good. This will be a repeat in our home again!

Wow, this is FABULOUS! I've been wanting to make my own BBQ sauce for ages and finally did...this is the one I'll be making from now on! I cooked two (kinda big bone-in split chicken breasts with just some onion, orange slices, and the sauce in my crock pot for about 6 hours on low then shredded the chicken. My apartment smelled amazing and my I caught both of my roommates sneaking some! I didn't make the slaw, but if it's anything like the rest of the recipe I'm sure it's wonderful. What a stellar recipe, this one is a keeper and one to share with BBQ lovers!

I only made the BBQ sauce and it is very good! Rachael is right. I will never buy BBQ sauce again. Thanks for the great recipe. The only thing I did different was to add a little bit of salt.
