This recipe is great. Its easy and very good. I have made it several years now and whoever comes for Thanksgiving always asks if I'm going to have the sweet potatoes.
It is very easy to make and trust me it will be one of the first things that is gone from your table.

This is fun as a desert and a side dish. It was extremely easy and took no time at all.

...its all about the sauce! It is absolutely delicious on its own, over ice cream. The only thing i do is decrease the orange juice to a little less than 1/4 cup - otherwise it is not thick enough and too orangey. For mother's day I added sliced bananas at the end and poured it all over french toast. My mom was very happy.

Even my husband, who claims to hate sweet potatoes, loved this dish. Not too sweet, crunchy...just plain delish. This will be on more than just our holiday menus!

This was very good, but i would make 2 changes; (1 add less bourbon and (2 add some cinnamon.

I liked the crunch of the pecans and the bourbon flavor, but it didn't knock my socks off. I also agreed that the orange juice flavor was overwhelming.
