I remember grandma's "smothered" mustard greens fresh from grandpa's garden, but have never made them. Bought some from a vegetable stand and found Rachael's recipe. OMG, these were delish! AND so easy. I thought I had bought too much, (I got two big bunches but they do cook way down. Still had plenty to feed four. Also, I did spend a great deal of time cleaning them. Removing the hard stem and rinsing each leaf. If you like mustard greens, you will love this recipe! Thanks Rachael

I have tried many times to cook mustard greens right out of the garden and never had success with them....until now! Thank you Rachel!

I used a 1 lb bag of chopped fresh mustard greens and some locally raised Berkshire pork bacon...I thought it turned out wonderfully. I definitely anticipate making this again and again.

D-licious!! My first time as well with mustard greens. I used pancetta and balsamic vinegar (cause that's what I had , started the whole thing off with well browned onion. Wonderful. I will definitely be picking up these greens on a regular basis. Thanks Rachael!

I followed the directions and quantities, and when finished, this seemed bland. So, I added some red pepper flakes. It helped a little.

I really don't see how another recipe could be better. These turned out really good for me. They had the pefect mix of vinegar and sugar and bacon flavor. I didn't need to add any thing later. Thanks RACHAEL RAY

Great Recipe! However, I had to tweak it for better taste (reason for 4 stars. I did not have bacon, so I used smoked porked neckbones. I also cut up garlic, onions, and cilantro - this is what really gave it a great taste. I put the garlic, onions, and cilantro in with the neckbones, then put in the chopped mustard greens mixed in with some kale. Everything else I used according to the recipe ingredients.
