When my husband and I saw Rachael prepare this dish, we thought it would be a great new side dish (you can only eat green beans and broccoli so many times, unfortunately the dish was not very good. The braising sauce had a nice flavor but the radishes were very bland, practically flavor-less. Perhaps infusing them with the braising sauce would help.

I like raw radishes and thought this would be an interesting twist on them. I am glad I tried these! I thought they were super flavorful. I also used the larger radishes and kept cooking them until the liquid had reduced the right amount. They ended up perfect! And my housemate went ga-ga over them.

These were good, very unique flavor. I couldn't find the little radishes, so I had to cut up the bigger ones, and that worked fine too. They needed to cook for about 20-25 minutes though, They added beautiful color to the plate.

It looked interesting, but the radishes do lose their flavor and I finally had to cut them in half while still in the pan(tricky! so they would cook the alloted time. I think you could of been eating almost anything because the radishes picked up the flavors of the other ingredients. Not sure I'd really want to make these again.

I like to try a number of Rachel's recipes however this one was lacking. Love radishes but didn't think this did them any justice.

Who would have thought of cooked radishes? Not me! I decided to try them because my husband likes radishes. I made a couple of changes to the written recipe. I used Splenda instead of sugar and as other reviewers have said, I cooked them a little longer. At the 10 to 12 minutes mentioned in the recipe there was still quite a bit of liquid so I just continued to boil the radishes until the liquid was reduced and "saucy." Even at 20 minutes the radishes were still al dente, but they were delicious and had definitely lost their radishy flavor. What a great alternative to the typical veggie! I'll definitely make them again and would proudly serve them to company.

Good recipe if you're in the mood for something different. The reduction was a nice mixture of sweet, savory, and tangy. Very pretty with chives sprinkled on top. Easy to prepare.

I like to try different recipes and this one sounded very different. I did have to cook them for longer than the reccomended 12 minutes, more like 20. They did lose the "radish" flavor, but I liked the taste and texture of the dish. I will definately make this again.

The online recipe sucks! Not enough information. But I tried anyway. Cooked radishes for 20 min. lost all there radish flavor. But yet I still enjoyed'um. I don't get it.
