I honestly didn't think this would work and the whole time I was making it I thought it wasn't coming out right. The finished product was wonderful though. I added some chopped chicken breasts and used a mix of parmesan and mozzarella on top. Such great flavor in this dish with so few ingredients. I will definitely make it again.

Easy and cheap for when money is tight!I like it with pizza sauce instead of tomato though.

I just threw this dish together after watching the episode. I didn't have any fresh tomatoes so I used some chunky bottled pasta sauce I had in the pantry. Delicious!

I'm surprised that I made this and even more surprised that I liked it. I love gnocchi and this does not taste at all like gnocchi. It tastes exactly like what it is...bread & tomato sauce. But that is good. Some of my bread was really soggy, some wasn't and that made it interesting, I think. I used what tomato sauce I had; I think it was less than what the recipe called for. Good use of old bread.

Very simple, fresh, and fast. I found a whole wheat baguette that I used for extra fiber, light margarine, and lower fat cheeses. Use lots of the fresh basil and tomatoes. Other veggies would be good added, but it's great the way it is. 22 minutes.

Wow. This dish was delicious. I never would have thought stale bread could be so good. Try this and you won't be sorry.
