Somebody said that this recipe is just steamed broccoli, steamed it is not because it is submerged in water. The key is the garlic infused oil that gives this broccoli a very nice taste along with the saltiness of the cheese. No this is not over the top nor is it the best broccoli I have ever had, but it is still very good. I like this recipe because it was easy, tasty and full proof. What more do we need. Once I made this, I did spinkle in some crushed red pepper to kick it up with spiciness, but it's not necessary. I also made the mistake by using parmesan cheese, but it worked out just fine.

I was very much expecting this to be an exceptional recipe.....was I ever disappointed! It was rather bland (and I followed the recipe exactly and quite expensive. Certainly not worth spending the money on the Asiago

This is one of the best broccoli recipes I have ever found! It's super easy and it is so worth little extra little effort. The asiago really brings out the flavor of the broccoli. I've found that it's actually healthier too! Because Asiago is kind of a salty cheese, you don't need to salt your broccoli as much. Yummo!

It's simply steamed brocoli with cheese sprinkled on top. Why would it be getting 5 stars from anyone? Does everyone just give 5 stars because it's RR?

This was great. I grated the cheese instead of making curls. I served this with steak. My husband ate the broccali first! (and he's mostly a potato guy! This is a great way to cook broccali & get your family to eat their veggies.
