Tasted fantastic! BBQ sauce can definitely be used with anything, but make sure to not leave it on the stove too long or else it starts to caramelize. & not a huge fan of the slaw....but it worked well with the flavors of the burger. I also added the paprika potatoes from the same episode to the meal and everyone loved it! Definitely planning on making this again soon!

All of the flavors come together - the slaw, BBQ sauce and burger - for a delicious meal.

tasty twist on a burger. the bbq sauce is great and easy, and the slaw really puts it over the top.

SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!! The burgers were so juicy and flavorful. We made full size burgers, and they worked very well. This is a great recipe to eye-ball ingredients. The BBQ sauce was divine, and the slaw was perfectly dressed. yum.

I just made the whole episode's recipes and the meal was absolutely amazing! The only thing I did differently was I made regular sized burgers (and buns, used 75/15 meat and cooked them on the griddle. The griddle was perfect. They kept their form, weren't dry and didn't get too small. LOVED these and so did everyone else.

Just made this and it's absolutely delicious! Wouldn't change a thing. However, make sure you have some Pepcid handy 'cause the sliders are very spicy (even with the sweet slaw topping!

Made these for my son and me for lunch today. They were excellent! I did prepare the fries by parboiling and then baking on a rack. I used a different spice mixture that I've used before (see Spicy Sweet Potato fries-- adjust seasoning according to the amount of potatoes used--I use about double what's in the recipe. The burgers and the fries were both keepers with us. Sauce is especially yummy! It took me about 45 min. to do start to finish. Thanks, Rachael.

Barbecue sauce was awesome. I will definitely use the sauce again. The burgers were moist and full of flavor. I'm not a big fan of barbecue sauce or cole slaw usually, but this combination was delicious. The recipe was very easy to make and unlike most recipes, I hardly changed a thing! I didn't make the fries that were supposed to go with the sandwich though. Good stuff.

Two things for sure not to forget - if using ground sirloin ( 7% fat the grill must be VERY hot so the juice/beer stay in the burger and not leak out. 2nd - watch the amount of thyme and marjoram because it really flavors the meat. I used fresh thyme and it permeated the entire burger making it taste like MEATLOAF! The slaw and bbq sauce on their own were good but got lost on the burger. Flavors did not stand out as I would have liked. We made for Father's Day and it was a miss...Kids not impressed... Also, the sweet potato fries recipe was not linked with this one so could no find it. We improvised.
