It is a very quick and simple recipe which adds such flavor and moisture to the brussell sprouts. It was a big hit at our Thanksgiving Dinner.

This was a very good recipe. I made it this year for Thanksgiving. Next time I would cook the brussel sprouts in boiling water first, so that they are more tender. They were a bit on the crunchy side. The taste of the bacon (and the bacon grease is really great. Be sure to peel off the outer leaves if you are using fresh brussel sprouts, because they can be kind of tough.

I made these for Thanksgiving and those that like Brussels sprouts, thought these were the best. My husband wants me to cook them this way all the time. I substituted garlic for the shallot and turkey bacon for the regular bacon.

I've only had brussel sprouts frozen in butter sauce, but this looked so delicious I just had to try them. They were fantastic! I did add about 2T of butter to the broth for added flavor.

I made this for Thanksgiving and was quite pleased with the turnout. I'm someone who's happy with the basics, but this added a nice and subtle flavor to the burssels sprouts. The best bonus is that it hardly took any time to prepare.

This has been a family favorite since I first made it last year. We love brussel sprouts anyway but now they are even more special. I have started "playing" with the recipe and now I add some sliced mushrooms to the recipe along with a dab of butter. I have had to double the recipe in order to have enough to go around!
