I've never had Brussels Sprouts before. I thought I would make the Lemon Sage Chicken recipe in this month's issue of Food Network Magazine and needed a side to go with it. I thought about trying Brussels Sprouts and went on FoodnetworkDOTcom, typed in Brussels Sprouts and found this recipe! It was the perfect side dish and they were DELICIOUS!!!

Perfect way to cook brussels sprouts! I made this for Thanksgiving but it's a great side dish any time of the year.

Super dish. Made this for Thanksgiving. I undercooked them as I made them early in the day. When I reheated them as the main course was resting, I added a touch of the left over stock. Excellent! Will become a standard and not just a holiday side.

winner. i like brussel sprouts, but wanted to make them in a way that others would also like them and we all loved these, even the 7 year old. very easy and super good. i never buy shallots for some reason, i just substituted some chopped onion and garlic.

easy and super delicious! i used just 2 pieces of bacon and about 1/3 of a vidalia onion. my 6.5 year old also liked these, which was a huge surprise. don't save this recipe for the holidays, it is fast and easy enough for an everyday veggie side.

These were beyond awesome! Soooo tasty! My 6 year old hates vegetables with a passion and even she agreed that these were so good (I think the bacon helped, but she ate them all up! I will definitely use more brussel sprouts next time, because we all wanted more! Will be making again for Thanksgiving!

The boyfriend who doesn't like brussel sprouts thought this was delicious. I'll definitely make this again.

This is an excellent recipe for one of the only two ways I like my sprouts. I either oven roast them until they are crispy and salty, or, I use this recipe for a little more softened version. Either way is excellent.

I wasn't a big fan of these, but then again, I'm not big on bacon. My hubby enjoyed them, but hasn't asked for them since.
