Absolutely fantastic. Excellent flavor and texture. Just pay attention to the cooking time as to not make them mushy. I get rave reviews each time I prepare this recipe. I do add a little Lawry's season salt to mine for a little more spice.

My husband loves brussels sprouts but I am not such a fan. I thought I would try this recipe for Christmas dinner to surprise him and even I liked it. I didn't have any shallots so I used three green onions instead and added some fresh buttom mushrooms I wanted to use up. I used frozen sprouts and let them defrost before making the dish. There was none of the bitter taste I associate with brussels sprouts. I will definitely make this dish again...and I think it serves more than four.

This recipe was quick, easy, and so tasty. We had it as part of our Christmas menu. Although most of us had never had brussel sprouts, this was a huge hit with the whole family and I would definitely make it again. The only change I made was to use an onion rather than a shallot. Thanks, Rachael!

I made this tonight for a lazy cold Sunday dinner and after reading the reviews I have to agree with the reviewers..It was simple and delicious.. I used frozen petite brussel sprouts and brought it room temp. b4 following the recipe. I was afraid that without the cheese it would be blah but it wasnt.. I'm not a Rachael fan but this was a great recipe and I always keep an open mind...MERRYCHRISTMAS, FOODIES!!!!

This was a huge hit on Thanksgiving! Forgot to buy the bacon, but used Canadian Bacon instead, still worked great and didn't have to cook it, just sauteed with the onions. Pancetta would be great with it, too.
People were a little iffy when Brussels Sprouts were replacing green beans, but after everyone requested seconds, they were raving about how great they turned out. Redefined Brussels Sprouts.

I made these last year and I've already been requested to make them on other occassions. It's now a staple on our Turkey Day menu. Very easy and the taste is awesome! Even those who do not like brussel spouts like these. That's impressive!

I made this dish last Thanksgiving and since then, I have been asked many times to bring this dish to family gatherings. There were many people who did not like brussel sprouts and also those who would never try them who raved about the wonderful taste. Rachael, you are my hero!

My cousin referred me to this recipe and it was an instant hit with the whole family. I already liked brussel sprouts before but this recipe makes them quite tasty and takes the edge off the bitterness that sprouts always have which is why it's not liked in general. I've been using this recipe often.
I've even used short cuts like using Hormel precooked Real Bacon Bits (picnic bacon instead of the usual fried breakfast bacon so time to prep is even faster. I also use red onions instead of shallots and it works great too.

This was delicious. I also threw in some garlic and thyme. It came out wonderful!
