liked the taste the pancake mix gives it. But I am from the Buffalo area and we use Franks hot sauce and Rooties Blue cheese dressing. I have been to the home of the Chicken Wing Buffalo stye at the Anchor Bar. These are good but, as good as some of the bars and pizza places here in Buffalo.

I just made this recipe as is and thought it was great. I guess it matters what type of batter you use because I didn't think they came out sweet at all. I used Hungry Jack- Complete Extra Light and Fluffy. The consistancy was perfect. The only thing I would do differently next time is season the batter and add more Tobasco... I like it spicy!

    Thank you Rachel!

This is the third time I made these and they are GREAT. I made them for a paty a few months ago also everyone loved them. I do add more hot sauce but they dont come out spicy which is a good thing because I handle handle things that are to spicy. I will keep on making them

They weren't all that spicy like the other viewers said and we added A LOT of hot sauce (we used Frank's. There was a lot of breading on them when they got done that we had to take off...it was kind of gross and greasy. Other than that they did have a good amount of taste...it just needed a little kick to it.

Also make sure the chicken is bite size or it will not be cooked by the time the outsides are browned up!

They were not that spicy, but were very tasty. We will be making these again. My suggestion is to make a hot dipping sauce.

This was horrible! Not spicy AT ALL! And the pancake mix was too thick, and way too sweet and greasy. My husband and I were sick to our stomachs for a whole day after! NOT a good idea....unless you like feeling like your stomach is eating you alive from the inside out. Pain...horrible horrible PAIN! ugh!

I made these for a game night and they were a big hit! Even though I let them rest on papertowel, I thought they were a bit greasy. They definately had a milder flavor that I was expecting, but they were still good. There was a couple pieces we pulled out and forgot to salt right away, and those were extremely bland.... The salt right after you pull them out is a MUST. Might try to use a healthier oil next time, not sure the Vegetable is necessary...Cannola would probably work just as well...? Thanks Rachel!
