I was very hesitate to make this recipe. I always read other reviews, which for this recipe, most said it was good. But I read one that say "Not worth The Work". That worried me. But I tried it anyway. My family loved it. It was great... not extra work AT ALL! I measured out all my ingredients and WOW.....YUM.O, I did not have any fennel seeds, but it was excellent anyway. I WILL MAKE IT AGAIN!! THANKS RACH!

It took me longer than 20 minutes to make this dish (defrosting and de-veining the shrimp took a few minutes, but it was really delicious! I made it with thin spaghetti because that's what I had on hand, and I also didn't have fennel, but it still worked well. I will definitely make it again!

This recipe was great!!! Instead slicing the lemons, I decided to use the zest of the lemon. I didn't have fennel seed, but it was still great. I will defintely make this again!

Although we did add a little more Old Bay seasoning than the recipe called for as well as a little fresh spinach and a sprinkle of asiago cheese at the end, this dish was exquisite and we really enjoyed it. The fennel was so subtle and added a nice layer of flavor. We will DEFINITELY make this again.

When I first starting cooking 30 years ago I would make my version of shrimp scampi as an inexperienced cook. Which was basically shrimp, garlic and butter thrown over linguini. This recipe with the exception of a few different flavors was no better than that basic receipe. It was not worth the work and I was very dissappointed. Also the TV version does not match the recipe.
