Yum yum. I made this for the first time tonight and it was fabulous. I added bacon, because I love bacon and cabbage together. This is definitely a keeper! The potatoes and the cheese meld together to create this soft starchy sauce for the pasta and cabbage. So good...

I will be honest - the only reason I tried this recipe was because of the ratings on here. It didn't sound too good to me, but I can tell you in my opinion - it is one of the best recipes I have gotten from FoodNetwork.com!!!

I, like a number of people on here added my own special touches. I added 2 small onions to the butter & garlic sautee. I then added mushrooms to that mix. Did have to add a little extra butter to cook it all. I also added Jimmy Dean sage sausage (crumbled up. It was amazing! I also forgot to add the pasta water but used chicken broth instead. I will definitely be making this one again!

My husband and I made this recipe and it was wonderful. I cubed and sauteed smoked sausage with the butter then tossed it all together. The sausage gave it a little extra flavor. But it was great either way.

Made this recipe for the first time. It was just delicious!! I didn't even add the cheese and it was still very flavorful.

I saw this on an old episode of 30 minute meals and it sounded so weird, I had to try it. It is absolutely delicious. The combination of ingredients sounds like it might not go together, but it does, very nicely. The cheese and potatoes really thicken it up and make it stick to your ribs.....I think I'll be adding this to my rotation :-

I have made this dish several times and my family love it but did think it was a little bland and we got tired of the same taste so we have added sausage(turkey or regular to spice it up and they love it.

This was excellent. Although, after a while, it got to be a little too much of the same taste, so I added some lemon zest and lemon juice on the left overs the next day, and it was delicious and gave it a slightly different taste.

My boyfriend and I really liked this. I left the garlic in and we splurged on a peppercorn romano and I think that helped too. It definitely had PLENTY of flavor and you really can't beat how easy it is! We'll use this again without a doubt!
