I made this for Valentine's Day, I used a mix of 4 berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries and angel food cake instead of poundcake. For the topping I melted strawberry ice cream. This is delicious, and with a few minor substitutions is a suprisingly healthy dessert. I found you don't really need to sugar the berries. I tried it with and without the sugar, and didnt really notice much of a difference, not to mention not using the sugar saves a few calories! I plan to make this often!

I have the absolute pickiest children in the world and they LOVED this dessert. My five year old son wanted seconds. I definitely recommend- plus you can make it more healthy using light straweberry ice cream (i did for them. This has become a favorite in my house! Thanks again Rach!!
