Tasty and delish, but pretty low on flavor when made as directed. I even purchased the mozzarella that was marinating in olive oil and spices, but we had to drizzle some balsamic vinaigrette over them to increase the 'wow' factor. Would make again, but a tad spendy!

I just don't think you could ever go wrong w/fresh ingredients. Especially if they are tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, & olive oil together!

My sister made these and they were a HUGE hit! She is asked to make them all the time. She also serves them with store bought pesto as a dipping sauce...SOOO good!

I am always asked to bring Caprese toothpick style for parties. They are always a hit!

Clever idea for a classic dish. I added a splash of balsamic vinegar as well. This was a fun way to serve the conventional caprese salad.

Great appetizer for a shower or cocktail party. I used yellow and red cherry tomatoes and was super happy with the results. Be sure to slurge for quality mozzarella for best results.

Haven't tried it yet; but looks great. Think I'll add a black olive, too.
