Even my husband who doesn't like onions eats this! It is also great leftover on top of cooked pasta!

Made this for two different gatherings. It makes a large amount, but they were scraping the bottom of the bowl for more! I used various apples, not just green. Granny Smith does taste the best though...

The dip tasted great, but for some reason, it didn't homogenize well so the texture was a little off. Not sure if it was the type of cheese or what, but it didn't melt so nicely. Tasted fantasti, especially with the pumpernickel bread. Just like cheese fondue at the Melting Pot! Just not as thick and creamy.

I made this for Christmas entertaining at my parent's house this year. It was SO easy and delicious! I have already gotten many requests for the recipe, and I will definitely make this again for special occasions! It is pretty to serve, and easy to keep warm in a crock pot all day long! Yum!

This is basicly a fondue which was fabulous! I also put out brocoli and califlower for dipping. I also tried it with a dark beeer instead of wine. It was a big hit.

This was awesome! I made it as an appetizer for Thanksgiving and my family loved it. It was sooo easy, but tasted really rich and complicated. The carmelized onions and thyme work so well with the cheddar. I will be making this again! Thanks for another great one Rachael!!

I made this as an appetizer for Thanksgiving and it got rave reviews. I served it with pita chips instead of bread - just due to personal preference. It was much better on Thursday than Wednesday night when I made it, so I suggest making it ahead. Also, the onions took a bit longer to carmelize than the recipe noted, so you may want to take that into account. Overall, this was an easy crowd-pleaser that you would do well to add to your list.

This is the best tasting dip ever had. It goes good with toria chips as well.

    Good recipe for parties.
