Wow! Who would have ever thought of putting bacon and nutmeg in a biscuit mix? Rachael Ray that's who and she was dead on! These biscuits were amazingly delicious...like she says on the show just add water and mix it up..everything is already premeasured for you so you cant mess it up. I didnt really measure out my cheese...just kind of eyeballed it and they turned out fantastic!

Very tasty my children loved it. Said it tasted like Red Lobster;s bread biscuits. I was pleasantly surprised that they came out so good. I used Bisquick instead of Jiffy brand and served it with a peaches and chicken dish. Delish!!!

they were just okay. i couldn't taste the bacon at all. maybe they would have been better if i used a more prominent kind of cheese in the batter, such as gouda or gruyere. i just was not impressed with the flavor, or lack there of.

My family loved these biscuits. I've always made cheddar cheese biscuits in the past and now I have to make these instead. Thanks for a great recipe.

My wife made these for our dinner last night (with the rest of the chicken and peaches meal. We really liked them - cheesy, bacony (is that a word?, biscuits. So good. Yes, they stuck to the pan. Maybe next time we'll try more spray. We only ate one each, so we'll have to figure out the best way to reheat them with the rest of the leftovers tonight. Thanks for the recipe!

I have watched this 3 or 4 times and then deleted it from the dvr box. I went to make them but I cannot find what temperature to have the oven on.
Thanks, Deb

I like the idea of this recipe and it is a good base. I didn't have any nutmeg (first time for everything so I skipped that. I did put some onion, garlic in the batter. I brushed the tops with garlic butter while they were cooking. my husband thought they were great and we have them every once in awhile = I have also substituted pepperjack cheese for the cheddar cheese which is really yummy!! Thanks Rachael for a great base recipe. =

Mine came out dry and bland tasting. Also they stuck to the sheet pan.
