This recipe, made with orzo (which I often forget exists, is wonderful and tasty...Great side dish for almost any main course. Easy can not even be stressed enough.

I would use more cheese, but this was an awesome pairing with the rest of the meal.

I made it without the cheese and it was still great! Creamy and very much like risotto. Don't forget to watch it and stir often towards the end because it will stick.

this recipe was awesome! the flavor was light - which i think is good as a side dish - it was very flavorful without being too overpowering or heavy. next time, i may add more cheese to the meal. when i was cooking it, at first, i was concerned b/c the orzo sucked up the moisture/liquid so quickly, but by stirring it relatively frequently, i kept the orzo at the bottom of the pot from sticking.

This was a great hit. I used Locatelli grated cheese. Wow. What flavor. A winner in my book. Do try.

This was an extremly easy side dish that melts in your mouth. I mixed parm and romano and added chives at the end.

This is a great side dish! My kids (ages 20 months, 3 and 5 all loved it -- even more than rice. My husband and I did too. I'll definitely made this again and keep orzo in my pantry!

This dish is so easy to make it could easily become a staple side for weekday meals. The broth and addition of parmesan give it a creamy texture and mellow flavor. As prepared, it's a little light on flavor. If you're looking for a little more punch in taste, try using a sharper cheese (asiago, locatelli or the like and brightening the dish with fresh herbs. This is a great base dish with which to experiment.
