Really easy and delicious. Reminds me of my German Grandmother's chicken and dumplings.

This was the quickest and easiest chicken and dumplings recipe I have ever used. My children don't like celery so I left it out. They loved it!

I made this for my family and they have been asking for it since. I've had to make it 3 times in the last 2 weeks because of their nagging. My only changes were that I used a lot more chicken broth (1 large can and 1 small can because we like gravy, plus I used Bisquick for my dumplings with called for 2 cups of bisquick and 2/3 cups of milk. This took a little longer to cook but yielded better tasting dumplings and more as well. To cook the dumplings, drop them by teaspoons and cook uncovered for 10 minutes then cover for another 10 minutes and it's done. I also added salt, garlic salt, and pepper to the broth, as well as garlic salt to the dumplings to add more flavor. I will be making this till I'm old and gray. It's so wonderful and it tastes so fresh and homemade. Oh, one more thing, I left out the peas and used frozen chopped onions. It was still great! Thanks Rachel.

WOW! this was, not surprisingly, another amazing rachael recipe! I once made a tyler florence chicken and dumplings recipe that kept me in the kitchen for HOURS and the the result was a greasy, bland disappointment. this recipe promised a delicious childhood favorite in 30 minutes... and it delivered. the sauce was thick and creamy and flavorful and the orchard salad seen in the same show was a perfect side dish. rachael......you are and always will be my favorite FN chef!!!

This recipe is great; just like Rachael said. 30 minutes to prepare and cook and tastes like it slow simmered all day. My family loves this recipe.

This was a great cheat on the day-long chicken and dumplings I learned from my mom. While most cheats compromise on taste or quality, this one was spot-on.

I made this for friends on a cool fall evening. It was delicious and easy. Since I had a group of 10 I doubled the sauce parts of the recipe but tripled the veggies and chicken (plus some. The proportions worked out great. Many requests for the recipe. The orchard salad (linked was a great counterpoint. Both are keepers.

My whole family enjoyed this recipe. Even my picky eater. Only change, next time...add some herbs to the dumplings. They were a little bland.
